Southview Holiday Park Skegness - Upgraded Caravan - Unica

The location of the property on the park was great. It was also very spacious. The duvets were good quality and thick. The contact with the owners to resolve issues was fantastic. The caravan was clean.

Just to be really honest as we were quite shocked by it from the pics - The caravan is pretty old and quite run down. Whilst it has 2 heaters, the van was very cold, although we did stay during a few very windy few days. There was a lot of condensation on the windows each morning and drafts through the doors. The oven is gas and only has one shelf, and only one medium tray to cook food on. It took over an hour to cook some chips that should have only taken 20 mins. So we gave up on trying to cook after our first night. There is no freezer in the fridge. Whilst there is cutlery for 6 people it is all just scattered in a draw so you have to dig around to find it. Unfortunately, most things we got out the cupboards we had to wash before using too. Although I don’t think that is the owners fault, it is the park staff they pay to clean for them! The general caravan and bedding, seats etc are really clean but there were quite a few cobwebs in the corners. There are no seats for outside. So if you did want to sit out you’d need to take your own.
