Pool & Sea Merill Apartments Mellieha

The apartment is in a lovely location, the flat it’s self is clean and tidy and comfortable but could do with a bit of maintenance, the shower head kept falling off when showering as the bracket was broke, The bath shower head bracket was hanging out of the wall and when you showered the bathroom floor got soaked and became very slippery

We more than happy to pay for the air conditioning when stay away, but these air conditioning unit was very old and not up to standards, the only one that made a slight bit of difference was the kitchen one, The unit in the room with 2 beds switched itself off after 15 minutes of running, it was impossible to sleep in that room and we had to sleep in the kitchen pull out bed as we kept waking up soaked in sweet in the bedroom, There was also bookings at the same time as us with groups of young lads occupying the whole top floor which was very noisy and smoking drugs which is not very nice to have to put up with when we have small children.

It had all the aspects to being great, nice location, pool was good, enough space for us all But.......

The air conditioning didn't work and when you have to pay extra euros into a machine to make it work to start you want it working !!!! With 37 degree days and lucky to get under 30 at night made our stay very hot and uncomftable!

Simple but an amazing base to view malta. There is a step road out of the apartment but we took a taxi at no more than €4 to the top then taxi everywhere. Lovely walk back. We took the x1 back and to from the airport. We had problems locking patio door good communication with owners and sorted within the day
