Road noise was a real issue. I was pleased I had ear plugs with me. They were not provided. It’s an old property and so it is understandable that it may not be possible to have double glazing fitted. The main issue was cleanliness. There were cobwebs in one of the bedrooms which wasn’t a major issue. What was an issue was the black mould around the bath and the filthy oven and oven tray. This was commented on by a previous guest who had stayed the previous month and it hadn’t been addressed. The dirty oven gloves and old sponge in the sink were not what I want to see in a self catering cottage when we were planning to eat in.

Beautiful interior. Very comfortable. Ideal location. Everything we wanted. Would love to stay again.

Great location. Hosts accommodating with wood for fire and bottle of wine upon request.

Front door poorly fitted allowing cold to enter 24 hrs a day. Host aware. No tv reception/ dvd faulty.

Location was close to pubs shops etc and was comfy and warm

Noise from road close by didn’t bother me but my partners sleep was affected as she is a light sleeper

Felt comfortable and homely. There was everything provided that we needed and the location was excellent.

Would have loved a dishwasher.
