3 Bedroom Lodge with hot tub on lovely quiet holiday park in Cornwall

Valley Lodge 50 was great! Comfortable rooms and lounge and good kitchen. Brilliant hot tub! The holiday park is fine, not as bad as expected after reading some poor reviews about the roads etc. Lots of trees and nice views from the lodges, peaceful although we were off season so it’s probably busy in summer. We would definitely return. Good base for exploring that part of Cornwall eg Looe, Portwrinkle, Fowey, enjoyed a scenic train trip from Gunnislake to Plymouth.

Booking indoor swimming pool is fiddly and seems unnecessary in off-season.

It's a very well equipped lodge, quiet, clean & comfortable. I loved that the hot tub was ready for use immediately.

Lovely clean comfortable lodge. Nice homely feel. Most comfortable beds we had ever slept in.

Glass in outdoor table was not secure so weren't able to eat outside

Lovely lodge and hot tub was brilliant everything you need for a family break away. It was a good base to explore Cornwall. The shop is expensive but the pub is lovely and the Sunday carvery delicious. Make sure you book the pool etc and go to reception to get the sheet as it's not in the lodge when you get there. The WiFi was excellent and connected to the TV so kids could watch YouTube and Netflix (our own account) two bathrooms and loads of space.was very clean. Beautiful location but not walking distance to any attractions etc.

There's a damp smell downstairs could probably benefit from a dehumidifier the bedding felt damp too I'm not sure if it's the hot tub that's causing it? The decking upstairs is in need of a fresh lick of paint as it looks shabby. Just needs a bit of TLC as wallpaper was peeling at the top of the stairs. No extraction in the bathrooms or the kitchen. It's a distance from everything so we spent a lot of time driving whilst away but that was because we weren't familiar with the area and thought it was closer to a town.

The lodge was beautiful, and having the hot tub was wonderful!

Lovely lodge and the hot tub was fantastic. The place is clean, quiet and relaxing. Really nice place to stay with family.

Toilet seat in the shower room is cracked at the front and back. Toilet seat in the bathroom had faeces on the underside of the seat. Fridge and freezer both need defrosting and cleaning. When trying to put the table lamp on in the sitting room there was no bulb. Paid £400 for 2 nights. Parking is hit and miss. If I owned this property I would also redecorate as something had obviously been spilt up the wall by the dining table and left dirty marks. No laundry bags to put the used sheets and towels in as per the notice on the door. Altogether very disappointing. Did not use hot tub as we couldn't be sure the water was sanitised.
