Such a charming and cosy cottage, that exceeded our expectations. The hosts were lovely and helpful. The surrounding area is beautiful with lots of great walks. The cottage was easy to get to by bus (and a bit of walking). But the next time we would bring headlights or a reflector for walking in the streets at night.

Property not ready on time and the host over communication via text throughout the stay. Hot tub was not available two of the four days of stay, with no offer of refund. The cottage needs better furniture, there was no comfortable sofa or sitting at property.

Very quirky and cosy. The log burner and hot top were great touches which were great for getting home after a day out. The rustic interior and set up made for a quiet getaway which is just what we needed. Bed was also extremely comfortable.

Perfect for a few days break in wonderful countryside. Comfortable, well-equipped, cozy and welcoming. Hot tub was fantastic after a days' walking. Highly recommended. We hope to be back at some point.

Having to leave.

The cottage was very cosy and full of charm and character. Everything was clean and tidy. The hot tub was a fabulous addition to our stay. We did not pay extra for the breakfast package but there was plenty of supplies in the kitchen to last us 3 days.

Noisey dogs next door, although I'm not sure if they are permanent residents. At least they did not bark the whole night, so we still slept well.

Fab and quirky. Loved everything. Superb location to walk out. Loved everything including the stories of Ponden Hall.

Leaving

We loved absolutely everything about this amazing little cottage! The pictures don't really show how lovely and charming it really is. The bed was so comfortable, the pillows and duvet felt super soft. Everything was just perfect! Loads of walks around to keep busy in a day, gorgeous views to admire in the evening.
