Franchement c'était incroyable, la chambre été parfaite, l'emplacement été parfait. La vue est à couper le souffle. Le personnel été très gentil, on a eu un petit problème d'eau chaude et dans l'heure le problème à été régler. Nous reviendrons !

The room itself (Deluxe Double Room with Seaview) is large and nice, with a firm bed, hot tub and great view.

To get to the tea house where guests check in, one would have to walk with your bags from one end to the other end of the old street, starting from the entrance (7 Eleven), a very long walk in a crowded alley through all the shops. We were lucky because the host of the hotel for the night before was kind enough to help us move our luggage here in the morning. Do note the there is a 3-4mins walk, in the open, from the tea house (after checking in) to the guesthouse. There are also 2 or 3 flights of stairs to climb (depending on which room you get), also in the open, before reaching the rooms. It was a nightmare for us (even though we carried only small suitcases) as it was raining heavily at the time we checked in and there was no porter service at this property. To be fair, the host did alert guests that it was important to travel light when staying in this property.

I liked the view which was wonderful when the weather was sunny day.

I stayed two nights to travel Gold Museum next day morning and walked around Jiufen Old Street and site seeing.
