The haven site was very nice as was the beach

Heating radiators would not work. Had to use fan on electric fire. No hot water. Plumber visited after the haven office kindly contacted the owner for us. Boiler had to be reset every couple of minutes as faulty. Very difficult to shower and reset as button was on top of boiler so you had to be very tall to reach it. No contact details for owner in caravan. Description of beach side location is not correct. It was on roadside with buses, lorries and cars constantly passing.

Boiler not working,no hot water or heating,electricity kept tripping out had to keep resetting the trip switch from outside….absolute nightmare…details for owners on booking .com , wrong, rang 33 times ,emailed 20 ,text…if it wasn’t for the haven staff giving me the owners number I’d have never got in touch with them..waste of time when I did,we will sort it by 4 ,they said 4.30 still no boiler..the best I got was hot water on Saturday at 5.30 pm,luckily the engineer showed me how to restart the boiler ,must have reset it 40 times.All this with a young foster child who’s had enough trauma in his life without being terrified when the power kept going out

The location was what we expected.

Location and views were stunning, only 5 min walk to the beach as well so the dogs loved it There was a 2 mile dog walk area as well which was perfect and also went by a couple of old Army bunkers and had plenty of areas to sit down and appreciate the beautiful views.

Cleanliness of the caravan as when we arrived it was filthy and my fiance felt she had to clean the caravan throughout before she could settle and feel relaxed. Gas ran out, which of course happens, but both gas bottles were empty so we had to get the site staff to help us out. Owners messaged asking for extra info which we sent back a couple of months prior but just before the holiday we got the same message which we again sent the info.. No feedback!! Messaged the owners again before we posted a review, as we wanted to be fair and offer advice as they hire external cleaners, but again no feedback so sadly have to post the review fully here. There was bean juice down the side of the kitchen unit, a used makeup removal pad at the back of a sofa, most blinds were broken, window cracked in small bathroom, only 3 forks and large spoons so take cutlery, unless the owners add additional cutlery after this review.. Took photo's when we arrived and recommend anyone visiting does the same.. Its sad because once we cleaned the van we did enjoy the holiday and the Site, its just the van is in need of some TLC..

Caravan hadn't been cleaned, had to take all bedding to laundrette and clean before we could unpack. Called owners said they'd send someone no one ever came
