Super good location and value. Good communication. Lot of space.

Not related to the apartment or host - all super. Due to old town location parking may not be smooth all the time. Public parking area is good but also crowded and expensive. Check the parking app Mobility but be careful and check all the signs, we got fined 30eur staying in front of some "special" building; signs are all local which is fine but check and translate. Location and apartment is worth it but check and ask about parking.

The apartment is centrally located, close to public transportation, but is not facing the main road, nor any square/restaurant, so it is rather on the quiet side. It is on the ground floor so we do not need to worry about lift/stairs (I read that the majority of apartments in the old town do not have a lift and are with narrow spiral stairs). The apartment, the furniture and the building are indeed aged... The entrance and the corridor of the building had an unpleasant odor, but the air inside the apartment was fine. There are three bedrooms (one with a sofa bed) but not really a living room/common area, so it might be a problem if you are a big group. We found all the amenities we needed. Overall we were satisfied with the cost/performance value.

The cleanliness could be improved, especially in the toilet. An upgrade of the facilities is needed, e.g. I read several previous comments about the leaking of the faucet and of the washing machine, but they were still not fixed while I was there. There was no air-con in the apartment. We found one floor fan, but the leg of the fan was broken.

The location could not be beat. Having 3 bedrooms was a big plus vs 3 separate hotel rooms. Heated space in cooler climate. Quick responses from host. Excellent recommendation from host for private guide/car. Our stay was 4 nights, Sunday till Thursday. Was extremely quiet day and night.

Arrived late on a Sunday night and encountered a non-working toilet with the lid off and we couldn't flush it. It was resolved by 10am the next morning. However, it shouldn't have been left that way after cleaning/prepping for our arrival. Only 1 bathroom but the toilet is separate. Helpful. The bathroom sink faucet still runs. Unable to completely shut it off. Its been a known problem per previous reviews. Beds are soft but we managed to get good night's sleep each night. Putrid odor in common hallway smells like animal urine. You have to hold your breath bad. (Apartment does not have this odor.) One bedroom has blinds to block out daylight. The other two do not. When using all 3 bedrooms, you only have the kitchen to gather together. For us, the location and the quietness outweighed the bad.

The building is quite old, the entrance area has a weird stench. The apartment itself is also a bit of a rundown. While it is well furnished and equipped, it would definitely benefit from a face lift and some modern upgrades. The apartment has a 60s 70s vibe. The tap leaked in the bathroom and the bathtub glass wouldn't close completely.

The location was brilliant. The apartment was spacious and very clean.
