Sehr gute Lage, alle Sehenswürdigkeiten in Gehdistanz. Die Wohnung ist trotz absoluter zentraler Lage doch einigermassen ruhig. Es ist nahe am Wasser und nahe von Restaurants und einer wunderschönen Passage mit Cafés und Gelaterias direkt am Wasser. Gleich im Nachbargebäude hat es jeweils ein indisches Restaurant - jammi - und eine Gelateria - nochmals jammi. Gleich unterhalb des Gebäudes hat es eine Tiefgarage, was es sehr einfach macht, mit dem eigenen Auto anzureisen. Leider ist es nicht möglich, im Voraus einen Parkplatz zu reservieren, doch wie der Vermieter schon sagte, war tatsächlich immer was frei. Im Haus hat es einen Lift, worüber man sich trotz Gehfreudigkeit nach einem langen Tag zu Fuss freut. Den Vermieter haben wir nie zu Gesicht bekommen, aber er war sehr freundlich online und hat uns im Vorhinein mit allen wichtigen Infos versorgt. Die Küche ist mit allem ausgestattet, was es braucht. Sogar Kaffeepulver und Salz und solche Dinge waren bereits da, das fanden wir sehr nett. Das Badezimmer ist arg klein geraten und an die Waschmaschine und den Tumbler kommt man nur ran, wenn man die Dusche zusammenklappt, nichtsdestotrotz ist es ordentlich, WC-Papier und Shampoo und diese Dinge liegen ebenfalls auf, das ist entgegegenkommend.

Die Schlüsselübergabe war nicht optimal: Man holt den Schlüssel in einem kleinen Lebensgeschäft ab, das etwa eine Viertelstunde weit weg ist (zu Fuss). Wir hatten mit dem Auto hingehen wollen, aber wir fanden definitiv keine Möglichkeit, da zu parkieren. Leider hat es wie aus Eimern geregnet auf der halben Stunde Fussmarsch von der Unterkunft zum Schlüssel und wieder zurück und wir waren klatschnass. Könnte man den Schlüssel nicht sehr viel näher deponieren? Das Mobiliar ist funktional, aber eher günstig gehalten. Die Betten quietschen ordentlich und das Sofa ist etwas durchgesessen. In der Waschmaschine war noch Wäsche von jemandem drin, und der Trockner voll mit nasser Wäsche von jemandem. Das war nicht schön, es stank und vereitelte meine Pläne, da zu waschen. Es hat einen Balkon und das hat uns sehr gefreut, doch es passt nicht mal ein Stuhl drauf - es ist eher ein französischer Balkon, und so nah an das Haus gebaut, dass man rausstehen, aber nicht raussitzen kann.

The property is well located.

We stayed at this property for one night, and unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. The most concerning issue was the strong, unpleasant smell of the bedsheets, which made it difficult to feel comfortable or relaxed. Additionally, the key collection point was about a 15-minute walk from the apartment — a detail that was neither convenient nor clearly communicated in the listing. The promised water view was nonexistent, which we found misleading, and the bathroom had a persistent odor, likely due to the sink failing to block smells from the drain. Overall, the listing did not accurately represent the reality of the stay.

Location is great

As big fans of Norway in general—and Oslo in particular—we come every year with only rare exceptions. This time, we intended to make a great finalé to our 6-day vacation in our most beloved place in Europe. Sadly, what was meant to be a highlight turned into a great disappointment. The apartment, although perfectly located, was extremely dirty and unwelcoming. The bedding was not only dirty but also smelled unpleasant. The bath towels were unwashed and stinky. To make matters worse, the kitchen exhaust made a constant, unbearable noise that couldn’t be turned off—it sounded like a demon’s welcome in an already grimy space. We had officially booked for five people, but only received bedding for four. My husband (6’3” tall) and I had to give the pillow and comforter to our children and share a single comforter ourselves. The beds creaked incessantly, adding to the “melody” of the kitchen exhaust. We’ve stayed in many apartments in Aker Brygge over the years, but this one was, unfortunately, outstanding—for all the wrong reasons.

The location is perfect, the beds are comfortable, the shower is great. Many very good restaurants near by. Only 15 minutes walk to the airport train at Nationalteatret.

There is a shortage of hangers and coat racks as one of the room has no wardrobe. There are some problems with bad odor coming from the drain in the bathroom.

The property is superbly located in Aker Brygge. It’s a compact apartment but serviced our needs quite adequately. We were a group of 3 and I stayed on the sofa bed which actually was ok as a bed but I chose to sleep on it as a couch for 2 of the 3 nights we were there.

If sleeping on the couch / sofa bed, then you need to be aware that the ventilation for the building which runs through all the apartments is constantly on in the background. I spent ages try to turn off the cooker fan which is by the ventilation system. It’s not too intrusive and I managed to sleep through it.

Interesting location, restaurants, shops, harbor area, well equipped with washer & dryer, dishwasher, microwave, cooktop, lots of useful leftovers (not food) from previous guests, all the usual utensils, pots & pans, coffee pad machine, two bedrooms, quiet, no traffic, bus station nearby, key surprisingly easy to acquire

Rather small apartment, tiny shower, all sinks and toilet drained very slowly, minimal wardrobe space, bedrooms really snug, beds wall to wall, living/dining room ok, and comfortable in winter
