I loved the quiet ambiance and traditional design. The day staff was wonderful, really helpful and kind. Because of the lack of natural light in my bedroom, I slept incredibly well!

When I was checking in after a long day, the process was not as friendly as it could have been. I thought about leaving but then I met the day staff and the were superb. The bathrooms are detached, a short walk out of your room. It has to do with the building being an historic landmark. After awhile it didn’t bother me at all, everything was so clean.

Beautiful shophouse, beautiful authentic room with wooden carved bed, very green with plants! Staff is superfriendly. Its an experience to stay here!

The bathroom is separate, so you need to walk through the hallway, bit inconvenient. But very clean!

Lovely place. I stayed in one of the rooms with ensuite. Quiet, but close to everything.

Although Ke-lan-tan House is situated in a very quiet area, it is also very central and within a short distance from shops, cafés, bars and restaurants. It is a beautifully decorated and welcoming place with an internal courtyard and lots of plants as well as a fresh water pond. The staff were really helpful and always ready to let you know about special events and places/areas of particular interest. There was also lots of information provided in a home made booklet in our room. It made our stay very pleasant indeed.
