Upside down in Settle. Stylish, central and cosy

Ideally located with Greenfoot car park just down the road. Quirky place, comfortable. Only stayed one night and we were there just to sleep really so did not use it to full advantage. Would definitely book again. Bruce sent detailed helpful instructions beforehand.

Didn't put us off but would benefit from use of a feather duster for the old cobwebs, some walls in need of a paint touch up, duvet cover faded and stained, noticed a bed slat was hanging down the next morning but was a comfortable bed. Bathroom grouting discoloured. Toaster needs a good clean or replacing. Sofa and chairs maybe would benefit from covers as sofa stained. Just observations, as I clean for a living, things have wear and tear when used frequently, didn't make a difference to our stay!

No freezer or freezer compartment in fridge.

Its proximity to the centre of town. Lovely and quirky.

The location is great. Central and lots of shops/eating places nearby. Parking within walking distance and reasonably priced. Facilities within the cottage good.

The key safe was difficult to access. Lightning in main bedroom poor. The cottage felt tired and a little shabby. A bath mat to use within bath would be useful to prevent falls.

Bathroom could be cleaner and drain not quite working as well as it could.

Lovely, little cottage. Heating was easy to adjust, and when we fathomed out the electric heater, was warm as toast. So close to central settle, which was perfect. Plenty of towels, magic power shower. Bed was fine Just fabulous!

I couldn't find any toilet rolls!! Very important to a lady!

The whole cottage was lovely. We were expecting something much smaller. This property is very spacious! And beautifully designed 😍

The bed, bedding, pillows are in a horrible state and should be replaced. The towels were awful, rough and damp smelling and both the drains in the sink and bath don't drain well. The extractor in the kitchen doesn't work and the oven door cant close properly. In the living area is an old heavily stained couch and a TV that doesn't work (we didn't choose the place for the TV but on a day where it rained heavily it would have been nice to have the option). It's such a shame because it's a wonderful building and location, there's just a significant lack of care or evidence of any recent investment in the property.
