Location, working heating

The door handles don't work so we had to push the door in with force and noise that wakes up my baby. Couldn't bath a baby because the water doesn't get anywhere near hot, also doesn't drain well. We then figured out that there was a certain tap position for hot water. The shower doesn't work. Lots of cobwebs, dirt on the carpets, dirty fridge inside. Rubbish under the sofa. The bed is so uncomfortable it looks like it will fall apart. We kept rolling to the middle and the slate came out twice at night. Very filthy armchairs. The towels were very rough. The washing machine was mouldy and smelly. Tiles as a placemats. Overall an ok stay if not the additional cleaning needs for the baby.

Location was great for the village, the cottage was relaxing, love the cosy feel.

Bet slats were losses and some had popped out, so re fitted them, cold especially bathroom, Didn't stop us having a top stay

My son couldn't get used to going downstairs to bed!

We liked the quirky nature of the place! Also that it was so central and reasonably priced. Bruce, our host shared local knowledge too which really enhanced our stay. Thanks Bruce!

Not a problem for us staying just one night however quite a few cobwebs around. That said it is the time of year for them and in a characterful place like this it's probably a full time job keeping on top of them!

In the centre of town close to amenities.

Bathroom could do with an update. Main bed wasn’t great. Could benefit from smart tv as only had free view tv.

Location is excellent. Single bed was comfortable. I loved the quirky layout and the house. Should have stayed longer as I really liked being there.

I had to spray the house because it smelt of dogs. There were cobwebs behind the beds and on all the rafters. I think more attention should be made to cleaning. The towels were awful and I am glad I took my own with me.
