"One of our favourite stays in 3 months travelling Japan"

Incredibly warm and friendly hospitality. We loved to hear about Yuki-san's garden and all the veg she was growing. Yuki-san is a very skilled English speaker. There was also a very cute dog. Comforting breakfast. Beautiful location off the beaten path - it felt like a truly unique experience.

A truly special place. A charming historic country house, beautifully arranged with great taste. The breakfast was wonderful. Above all, the host was kind, warm, and intelligent, with a genuine love for hospitality. A place that stays in your heart.

Try to get there before dark, it’s a bit tricky

Dat het een prachtig oud japans huis was in originele stijl en goed onderhouden. Een echte Japanse en culturele ervaring. Ook was de host heel aardig en gastvrij. Door de mooi onderhouden tuin en het uitzicht op de bergen werd ik helemaal ontspannen. Een echte aanrader wanneer je de Japanse cultuur wilt ervaren.

Het is vanaf het station wel een stijl stukje lopen naar het verblijf. Maar Voorderest was het super.

El desayuno fue excelente y casero. Las vistas de las montañas excelentes.

No hay bañera u onsen que para un sitio así seria ideal Hice reserva de dos habitaciones y solo nos dieron una. Lo arreglo la segunda noche así que no fue un gran problema.

"Special beutiful place and amazing hospitality"

Very special place, beautiful Japanese traditional house in a remote village with amazing view from the dining area. Great breakfast. The true highlight was the hostess!!

We recommend arriving before dark, because we got there when it was late and it made it hard.

"Amazing B&B and wonderful host"

The landscape was peaceful and the building was beautiful. The room had a heat pump installed so while it was below freezing overnight we were comfortable and cozy. The hostess is amazingly friendly and kind and made us feel at home. We would highly recommend staying for anyone who wants to experience the countryside life.
