A beautiful location. Lovely accommodation and very good breakfast.

Our hosts were very hospitable and helful. They were really nice people. Breakfast was lovely and on demand. We got good walking and hiking tips. The fells are accessible, Crummock lake is at an easy walking distance, there are lovely inns nearby. It's highly recommended. Love to go again.

Beautiful location with fell views and a natural plunge pool in the garden! The breakfast was legendary- even the bread was homemade. The hosts were very, very friendly and helpful with walking suggestions. We added an extra day because we liked it so much!

The bedroom and dining room were very cold, needed a dusting all over, breakfast was mediocre well cooked but tooth picks for sausages, partner was not initially given orange juice on second day as she did not drink all of it on the first day,, which we found very odd Felt pressured to leave a comment in visitors book but were able to leave without doing so

Everything very clean and attention to small details was good. There was a small fridge in the room and plenty of tea, coffee and biscuits. Hosts were very friendly and interested in their guests. Home made bread, jams and marmalade at breakfast as very nice!

Room rather jaded and could perhaps do with a makeover. Most importantly an overwhelming smell of damp in both the bedroom and bathroom. Details would benefit from explaining where to park as easy to miss the property and gated parking area. The property is not in Loweswater itself but about a mile away.

Thank you very much Les and Jan for a warm welcome, The room is spacious and spotless, For two nights here we were spoiled with a delicious home cooked breakfast every morning. Fantastic place for exploring the hills , some brilliant hikes from up here. JUST PERFECT!! Highly recommend 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
