Kuldesak Beach Front Villa & Bar

Era imposible ducharse, ya que la presión de la ducha era inexistente así como el agua caliente. Además estaba infestado de hormigas.

Great spot right on the beach with bar/resturant service from friendly staff. Rest assured owners have resolved earlier feedback, windows are fitted upstairs, AC works well. Pool was great. Included breakfast great. Privacy screen fitted between bar and pool + staff would quickly clear off anyone who entered. Overall felt private. Staff helped with every query even driving us to next hotel at good price. Highly recommend.

Indonesian host friendly and helpful. Loved being able to snorkel in clear waters right in front of the property and host kindly loaned us snorkelling equipment. Loved the quirky bathroom but bc there was no glass in bathroom window and the door to bedroom wouldn't close, so the whole villa was very hot despite air con going full blast.

Pool was extremely murky and unusable. Have learned from other reviews that people from the bar are able to use pool in front of villa if desired. Was not aware of this when booking. Had this been the case, it could have been very loud and we would have had no privacy in our rooms. Thankfully, no one came whilst we were there. (We booked both rooms as was travelling with my 2 teens so thought the area was exclusively for our use). One room had rats. Kettle and fridge had mould in them. Was very keen to do a snorkelling trip with a company from whom I could rent a GoPro as my own camera had been damaged. I had contacted over half a dozen companies with no luck. When we arrived, a driver, (possibly linked to KulDeSak hotel and bar??) organised an (expensive) trip for us with a rented camera. Needless to say, it was an horrendous trip booked through Elite snorkelling. They seem to run many of the trips booked through GetYourGuide, Klook etc. They charge high rates, told me one price for the camera then raised it 30% as soon as I confirmed I wanted it, had terrible equipment that didn't fit and very little safety equipment. I paid extra for the taxi to/from the hotel as its a 20-30 min drive from the pain port/town area. I was happy to pay slightly more than the taxis at the port were asking because I wanted to support the hotel as it's away from town and not in a busy area. However, the driver/organiser also wanted me to pay extra because his driver waited whilst we were on the trip. We had not discussed this "extra charge" and although I am happy to recognise the driver's time, we could easily have found our own way to/from the hotel as there are many taxi drivers looking for business. As I had just paid a significant amount of money for an awful experience, the whole exchange left me feeling disappointed and angry.

Looks like the pictures, on the front of the sea (not really the beach) but view was nice. Staff were friendly.

Borderline dangerous. Bad location down an alleyway not near anything have to get taxi everywhere which are really hard to get. The windows didn’t shut properly so the villa wasn’t secure. The safe wasn’t fixed down so nowhere safe to put our valuables. The wooden decking planks were dangerous to walk on very uneven and not fixed down. Couldn’t use the mezzanine as the stairs were too dangerous to walk up all cracked and one cut my foot. Definitely not worth the money.

Stunning view and place, literally on the ocean. Very helpful staff driving around the island. Quite central in the island one hour from each side. Bar service on site!

Falling a little bit apart, near dangerous need some work. Not on a beach really. And around ferry boats. Location far from nice restaurants markets and shops. Also when booking I accidentally booked the two halves of the villa which we did not need. Was a bit misleading. Not to forget is a backpacker style island, there is no ressort like in bali island

Amazing front view! It was a beachfront, so we could go snorkeling! Don’t forget to take your masks, or you can rent them at the property!

One of the rooms the ceiling was leaking so we were limited one room Pool was extremely cloudy

This a private little oasis, was perfect for us. Staff were very attentive and available but not at all intrusive. It’s a beautiful villa and setting to watch the sunset from the pool or loungers. And very comfortable bed and appointed bathroom. Little shops and restaurants a couple mins walk away. Transport was super easy to organise through Bob the owner. Ocean is literally steps away. There is a little jetty where boats come in a couple of times a day but was barely noticeable. There is a a very sleepy bar next door too. Nothing was too much trouble and made it very relaxing week in peninda!

While the villa is 2 bed, 2 bath, it’s two seperate villas. We only needed one half but just good to know!
