Mt. Vernon Motel

the woman at the front desk was very nice.

The motel seemed like a long-term stay for homeless people. The room smelled musty (I was next to the washer/dryer room). I used fabreze. After my shower the water smelled very bad. The bathroom needs fixed. The molding was messed up and holes in the wall behind toilet. I would not stay here again.

Great proximity to our show, dry clean, nice people.

Clean room friendly staff and great for the price

The room was exactly what we needed for a quick one night stay. The price was excellent, staff very friendly, everything was great.

They didn’t have shampoo and conditioner but said they will probably add that in the future. Not a huge problem but would like to see it added even if for purchase in the office.

The owner was super friendly. The property backs up to a large farm, so very peaceful. Reminded me of the little motels we would stay in as a child. Can’t beat the price compared to the ridiculous rates of the hotels in the area. Was in the area for a lacrosse tournament and was exactly what we needed.

They may have had one, but could not find an ice machine to fill up our thermoses.

No deadbolt on door/ broken blinds/some alarm missing

Small, exceptionally clean old school motel. Nothing fancy. I liked the flower baskets. In the back there were a few picnic tables and a small garden.
