Costa Mahkota Melaka - Family Homestay

No ghost, clean house, good management, okay pool, free parking, lots of parking, 6 mins to menara taming sari, aircond good, every room spacious, good security. Very good responds from the managerial of the homestay(Ms Charleen)

Well, if you're a fussy person, maybe its not a place for you. We had issues with the aircond, but they fixed it. The pool got leaves, and needs maintainence, the bathtub has crust stains (for being old) But for me, for the price, ok lah. Maybe will stay there again someday

Pros - The hostess is very responsive, informative and easily reachable. - The apartment is overall quite clean and comfortable. - Quite an affordable place to stay considering its location near to tourist area. - Complete kitchen, toilet, living room (plus TV), bedroom amenities and water heater provided as per facilities shown at booking.com. - Feels like a secure location to stay. - Gym & swimming pool facilities easily accessible from apartment. - Security guard always present downstairs. - Kiblat direction & prayer mat provided. - Deposit returned as per agreed. - No ghost disturbance (from previous review).

Cons - Yes the place itself looks outdated but functional & clean. - Can be very quiet on non-holiday season. - Mini mart opens at 10.30am. - To cross to the malls quite difficult as no proper zebra crossing. - Some left over stains in bathtub. - One of the bathroom mirror has a bit of mold. - Towels provided can be cleaner as its also seems used. - Need to bring own trash plastic. - Initially door lock system was confusing but all good after understanding. Dont forget to bring apartment keys and access keys when going out!

Nothing to like here

Dirty. No staff available. Very quiet seems that I was the only one staying here. The owner lied about the place and did not help when needed. There is a GHOST in our apartment. We have to check out at 2am in the morning and asking a help from police department. Our apartment is Block 6, 2nd floor, apartment number 6024.
