The set up and fireplace were lovely. The gates around the property are fantastic for having small children and pets.

"Amazing - would definitely visit again."

The property was great. Very clean and lovely smelling. It had everything in that you need. There was even some treats left for the children which they loved. Lovely view in the morning. Would definitely recommend it to anyone that doesn’t want to be in the city centre or fancy’s a short drive.

A wonderful stay at Tanyard Cottage. Michelle is a very friendly host and has thought of everything you need for a comfortable stay. Perfectly located for a visit to York. Would highly recommend and would definitely come back if we are visiting the area again

"A great cottage in a great location with a great host. we’d definitely visit again"

Fabulous location, Michelle was great and couldn’t do enough to help us. The cottage was beautifully decorated for Christmas and Michelle left mince pies, cereals etc for our stay. We had a lovely Christmas there.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like!
