Tanyard Cottage - Whixley, York, North Yorkshire

The property was clean, easy to find and beautiful! It was lovely and warm. On arrival we had milk, cereal and biscuits which was a lovely touch. There is a pub within walking distance which was fantastic, we went there both nights of our stay! Ideal location to get into York, we got a train from Cattal station which was only about 5 minutes away. We wish we had more time here and would love to go back soon!

Great cozy cottage in a nice quiet area but not too far from civilization

This was a surprise for my birthday. My partner booked it due to us both working so much lately and needing some quality time together as a family. We have a 9 year old and an 8 month old baby. The cottage is superb 👌 Everything you need. The bed was extremely comfortable. I shared the single bed room with my eldest daughter. We made use of the washing machine before we left as well as the other facilities. Cleaning air b&bs is something we do within my business as well as the laundry and I was very impressed with this cottages cleanliness. Thank you for having us and we've already been looking to see when we can come back!! 4 very happy guests. 5 stars from us 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

Lovely smart comfortable cottage with all you need in super location with country views. Michelle our host was great, very relaxed and kindly left loads of extras to make sure we had all we needed when arrived.

Property was beautiful, a home away from home. Everything provided, such as toiletries & kitchen supplies. View out to the fields opposite was lovely & peaceful. Within 10-15 minutes of shops & a petrol station. Perfect base to visit York & Harrogate. Wish we could of stayed longer but will definitely return.
