"A perfect and relaxing cottage to stay in."

The property was very clean, comfortable, homely and a pleasure to stay in. We loved it, and the location and its views were perfect. Having breakfast in the morning enjoying the view and relaxing in the evening after a long day.

There was nothing to dislike.

Beautiful cottage and surroundings. Little extras provided, and great to have breakfast items and milk waiting for us. Everything was clean and tidy. Loved our stay!

The property is located in a quiet rural location with off-street parking. Nevertheless, it is only a few miles from the A1(M) and has a 2-hourly bus service to York and Ripon and close by is a station with half-hourly services to York and Harrogate/Leeds. The property is like home from home and ideal for up to four people. The property is clean, spacious and very well equipped; everything works well including the wifi and satellite TV. There is also an outdoor seating area.

There is nothing about the property that could be criticised.

"It was an idilic relaxing stay in such a characterful cottage. Even has a log burner! Highly recommended."

It was like being home from home. Immaculately clean and beautifully presented with quality furniture and fittings. On checking-in this charming, spacious cottage was very warm and we were pleasantly surprised to find a continental breakfast had been provided although not mentioned on the website…how nice is that! Overlooks countryside and right by Whixley Park. Michelle the very friendly owner and host was great with her communications. Great value for money.

Sincerely nothing at all.
