Tanyard Cottage - Whixley, York, North Yorkshire

Secure gated parking. Easy access to property. Lovely welcoming touches (Christmas lights & decorations) plus welcome basket of breakfast items. Cosy cottage with log burning fire. Kitchen equipped with essentials for cooking. Slept well, you cannot hear the odd car passing by. Sky TV. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

Our contracting guys said they haven't stayed in as nice a place. Michelle has been super and so accommodating, going above and beyond. Will certainly be using again.

Everything, Michelle was a great host, cottage was beautiful and very comfortable with everything we needed including breakfast and milk.

Excellent standard throughout. Michelle is a caring and attentive host. Detached house means you have guaranteed quiet.

Everything from location, facilities and greeting from Michelle ( she’s so lovely and genuinely has a warm welcoming heart) The thoughtful things that you wouldn’t normally get like boxes of cereal, biscuits and pain au chocolat. Every detail is taken care of and scrupulously clean. Loved the cottage very much and would definitely stay again. Already looking at future dates :-) Would recommend with no hesitation.

Very warm and cosy. Never stayed in a cottage that provides breakfast before! Some beautiful glam touches to the decor that made it luxurious.

I found the pillows uncomfortable. I tried them all so I think they are all the same type.

A home away from home! Really comfortable cottage, beautifully decorated with everything you could need. Nice countryside location but easy access to York and Harrogate. Wish we'd stayed longer!
