Only one key offered for the room, which was awkward for 2 people as you need to take the key out to lock the door. Room not serviced on a 2 night stay. Shower head not move able so impossible to shower without getting your hair wet. A shower riser means you could lower the shower head below hair height.

It wasnât your fault as there was a heat wave when we were there. But the room was stifling hot. Fantastic to have the fan though, which was much appreciated. It was quite a small room. My rare steak in the pub the first night was extremely over cooked (more like medium to well). Fortunately it was a really good quality steak and was delicious, but was disappointing. I mentioned all of that to the young waitress who just nodded and ran away.
GBWe received a warm welcome and all staff were friendly and helpful. The real ale was well kept. The bedrooms were fresh and clean. The bed was big, with comfy pillows. The windows opened The shower was excellent and we loved the big fluffy bath sheets. Asking for extra tea and coffee etc was invited..
NothingâŠ. We realised it was on a main road when the heavy traffic started coming past from before 6:00am.

GBHad a lovely nights stay. Room was clean and cosy. Staff exceptional. Couldn't do enough for you! Pub quiz was a good laugh. Had breakfast which was delicious.
