DESpotlessly Clean! Warm and inviting-lighting and decor was very classy. Loved all the natural lighting as well during the day. Heated floors were welcome on tired feet. Towels soft and fluffy. Bedding warm and cozy. Especially loved details like touch lamps and charging ports on night stands-quality hair tools in drawer too. Bathrooms were great-spacious with window access. Kitchen perfectly equipped with nice, modern appliances. We found the location easy to walk around the city and amenities close by, but bus stop is very close to front door for those who need it. Also park across the street. Host was welcoming, informative and helpful. 100% recommend! Loved everything! No complaints!

No living room space as sofa bed was in use. Large kitchen diner was lovely, but not enough comfy seating to relax in, only upright dining room chairs.

GBWe had a very pleasant stay. The apartment is spacious and nicely decorated. The concept of different levels was very useful and worked well for our family of 5. The little court yard is a nice future, although we didn't use it. The atic space was a bonus. The host is lovely and welcoming. Walking distance to the heart of York.
GBA quirky but practical house. A real home from home. Julie, the owner, was so welcoming - it was great to know she was just next door if needed. She keeps the place immaculate! Great location. The off road parking spot was a nice bonus.

GBThe Light Well was a lovely self catering apartment.It was comfortable,clean,well equipped and had everything you needed and more.It was about 15 minutes walk into the city walls so was very well placed.Julie met us to show us round and was so helpful and was a fantastic host.You could easily stay for a week self catering as the kitchen had everything you could need including a slow cooker /washer and dryer

AUEverything. The place was large and exactly as shown in the photos, even bigger and better. It was spotlessly clean. It was modern and had all the facilities we needed. It had cable TV and great sound equipment. The location was great, only a short walk to the city. We had a free car park. The host was the most helpful and available at any time.
There is only one minor thing that would not affect my rating. We didn't use Wi-Fi because it was not password protected, and we had a bad experience in the USA with hackers. I am sure it was safe to use here, but we were extra cautious. The cable TV was fine, so I expected the internet to be fast.
