Very beautiful converted farm in different flats The space is nice and it is well equipped, very comfortable The place is lovely located in the nature and the starting point of excellent hiking trails. This is for us the most beautiful part of the Lake District You can buy eggs directly from the farm It is close to Ambleside (much nicer than Windermere full of tourists and not beautiful) and a perfect starting point to drive to the main areas in the region Very good communication and self one from the owner

The pictures don't do the property justice. The place was stunning. Had everything that was needed in the kitchen. There were books, dvds, and board games. The property has been finished to a very high standard. Phillip and Suzy were both warm and welcoming. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Maybe could’ve done with a hoover or a mop for us to clean up after a couple of days

The Old Dairy was a perfect place for 2 adults and 2 children. There was plenty of space and it had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. It is in a beautiful setting next to a stream and it's easy access to Ambleside and Hawkeshead by car. We would 100% stay again.
