"Lovely classic old style hotel with modern rooms."

The sea view was amazing, worth paying the extra for. The decor in the room was modern, clean and just lovely.

The soundproofing from other rooms and the corridor was not the best. Wouldn’t stop me from going again but is the only downside I can think of.

"A decent base to explore the area or a stopover"

Good location for sea views short walk to village centre. Staff were friendly, bar and food prices were reasonable. Nice to sit in lounge area with a malt whisky and watch the sea and sky change. The hotel seemed near full in early June but there was plenty of space in bar area and lounge to have a quiet sit and read.

It wasn’t bad really for the price and location. Could do with a little easy TLC eg remove the grass and weeds growing out of the stonework on main entrance stairs (doesn’t give a great first impression). Our room ok but very dim lighting so not possible to sit and read a book in evenings. If in Gairloch again would possibly stay here again though as few other options and maybe ongoing refurbishment would have progressed a bit more.

C’est un beau bâtiment plus que centenaire. On a aimé cet ambiance écossaise. Situé devant la mer. Très bon petit déjeuner et souper. Il y a un petit épicerie à distance de marche et également un petit port.

Tout était parfait.

Schön gelegenes Hotel mit neu und ansprechend renoviertem Zimmer und Bad.

Das Personal ist korrekt - aber wenig empathisch und gästeorientiert. Duschen war nicht möglich, da kein heißes Wasser? Lakonisches Achselzucken und ein kurzes, pflichtschuldiges Sorry. Mitten in der Nacht aus dem Bett geworfen durch einen einminütigen Feueralarm? Keine Erklärung, keine Entschuldigung. Man erscheint 15 Minuten vor seinem Slot zum Frühstück im fast leeren Frühstücksraum? Indigniertes Hinweisen, man sei zu früh - anstelle einer herzlichen Begrüßung. Dinner und Frühstück waren im Übrigen recht mäßig.
