Sibsan Resort & Spa Maetaeng Chiang Mai

Very quiet. This is the place to take a time-out from all the hustle and bustle of your busy Thailand vacation. If you are planning on visiting the Elephant Nature Park note that this qualifies as one of the Chaing Mai hotels that they pick up from.

Traumhaft schönes, sehr gepflegtes Resort. Sehr leckeres Frühstück und Essen im Allgemeinen. Das gesamte Team war ausnahmslos überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir haben uns super wohl gefühlt und wären zu gerne noch länger geblieben. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt.

Es war alles perfekt. Maximal ist anzumerken, dass das Hotel wirklich etwas abgelegen liegt vom Hauptgeschehen. Was bedeutet, dass wir vom Flughafen Chiang Mai 1,5 Stunden gebraucht haben. Aber das fanden wir persönlich eher angenehm und entspannt, da hier kein großartiger Verkehr herrscht. Außerdem hat man alles was man braucht in der Nähe u. a. ein wirklich ganz tolles Elefanten Resort.

Das Personal ist sehr sehr freundlich. Wir haben die Ruhe genossen. Waren hier für einen Ausflug im Elefantenpark, aber ca 40 Min entfernt. Es hat uns so gut gefallen, dass wir noch eine Nacht verlängert haben.

Restaurant staff were super friendly and nice.

We stayed one night on our way north and booked a late-escape deal. Perfect location and views. The staff were professional and kind. The resort is stunning. Beautifully designed and executed colonial-style bungalows. The details were incredible. Lovely calm pools. Truly generous breakfast. The local food market runs twice a week about 400 meters from the hotel. We tried everything and there was no need for dinner :)

This resort did not receive a 10 because: 1. The gorgeous bath (looks like a spa) is fictitious - there is no water pressure - and the shower looks shabby. 2. There was no hot/warm water at all for the whole duration of our stay.
