The views were lovely. Babbling river. Birds singing. Deer sightings. Trees all round. There was a bit of external road noise, bikes etc so not completely silent from that sort of thing. Also some howling?! Still lovely tho :)

Was a little damp feeling if being completely honest. Owners were lovely but feel the place needs a little tlc for other guests to be there. Also plenty of spiders! I had to evict a few on my stay!

"A charming interlude on our South Downs Way adventure."

The location is enchanting, a cosy little shed by a babbling chalk stream, surrounded by leafy garden - all wonderfully back to nature, including the composting toilet next door. We couldn't resist a 'wild swim' in the clear shallow water. Wonderful! Kay and Chris are lovely hosts, too. Very helpful and welcoming.

The cabin contains two beds, a sink and a hotplate, so cooking is limited. The hanging cupboards are handy, but we could have done with a clothes line for our sodden waterproofs ... and perhaps a weeny indoor table and stools? Maybe a couple of glasses?

We enjoyed every minute of our stay it was so peaceful yes it has spiders n bugs but what do u expect

Location was great

The accommodation was basic, which is fine, but could be reflected in the price more. Wouldn’t take much to lift it up a little to make it more comfortable.

Stunning location & so peaceful. Was quite happy to sit on the bank of the river & listen to the water & birds and breeze, no extra entertainment required! :)

Felt it was a little overpriced. Had to vacate a lot of spiders & be comfortable being v close to nature. I don't mind this at all but it may bother some folk. Few things were missing like milk for tea, tea towels & bin but still a v pleasant & charming experience.
