City Centre Hidden Hideout for 2

The location was great with many shops and restaurants right at the door and old town easy to access. Excellent communication from owners. It was terrific having a separate bedroom from the kitchen. Loved cooking some home cooked meals . Price was very good compared to others similar. The apartment had everything you needed to cook with. Roomy apartment. No noise from nearby pubs other than bin emptying in the mornings.

Small double bed. There is bin (glass/bottles) emptying noise in the mornings with many pubs nearby but it didn’t really bother us as we are early risers but it did wake us. However, overall it was very good value for money and we would recommend this place.

Very clean and ideal location to downtown Edinburgh

Local trash pickup occurs weekday mornings and can be loud at times.

We loved this apartment. It truly is hidden among many restaurants and shops. It is spacious and beautifully appointed and decorated. Important for us, it is a 3-minute walk to public transportation. It is about a 15-minute walk from the Royal Mile, which is up a hill, but two 70-year old women managed it without much trouble. A big plus is the video the host provides to help guests learn about how everything in the apartment works.

Center of town, close to all the sites and bus stops. We will try to book this place in the future.

The recycle trucks are very noisy on Saturday morning

The location was fantastic. It was easy to get to and from the airport by bus.

There are many glass pickups, 2 to 3 times a day, but it is downtown with lots of restaurants and shopping, so that's expected,, I guess.

It could get noisy in the morning while the pub that's opposite was getting rid of glass. But thanks to the installed panels it wasn't too bad

We absolutely loved this place! It’s a very cozy and comfortable home. When we arrived, we found plenty of essentials like water, sugar, snacks, coffee, tea, etc. This was the first time I encountered such generous hospitality, and it was truly thoughtful. The house had everything one might need. Additionally, as mentioned in the comments, the noise was not an issue for us at all. The location is also very close to the city center—just a 10-minute walk to the main tourist attractions.

Although the house was clean, the floors were dusty, which made walking barefoot uncomfortable. The floors should be mopped. Additionally, the showerhead in the bathroom should provide stronger water pressure.
