Charming 1BR Next to The Lanes by Sullivan Stays

I liked the bath and the space - nicely appointed. It was great to have a kitchen and laundry and it was a bonus to be just around the corner from a supermarket.

No plug for the kitchen sink and could have done with a fan as it was quite warm.

It hadn’t been serviced when we arrived.

The kitchen is big and well equipped. The windows are new and block the noise from outside. The customer service is friendly and helpful.

We had a very unfortunate experience with this flat. We booked for 4 people and when we arrived it was only prepared for 2 people. So we had to look for the sheets ourselves and found them quickly. But then the mess started. When we tried to set up the sofa bed, we figured out it was actually broken!! The legs were broken and it was impossible to sleep on it. Especially for two people as it was super instable, dangerous and tilting when one person was moving. After contacting the accommodation, the person was very friendly but couldn't help us as it was Sunday evening and no handyman could pass by to fix the problem. Thankfully we are quite handy people ourselves so we managed to make it somehow stable for one night. It was still impossible to sleep. The customer service contacted us the next day to tell us we would get a new sofa bed during the day. The guys arrived at 10 p.m. And it took them until 11 pm to bring the "new" sofa bed upstairs. Bless them. The new one is definitely not suitable for two people as well, you really have to like the person next to you and don't fear physical contact during the night. Also, the new sofa was super dirty and stinky. We put the blanket from the old sofa on top and finally we figured out it smelled absolutely disgusting. The blanket and the sofa. So we tried to not touch the new sofa too much. Anyways, this issue got fixed thanks to the customer service of Sullivan Stays, they were really friendly. Even though they told us, that they didn't get informed about the broken sofa bed although reading the reviews from earlier stays it was already broken and mentioned. But I have to mention a few other things that are not acceptable. 1. The bin in the bathroom was still full with waste from the previous guests. 2. We found a fake eyelash on the floor in the living room which showed, that it has definitely not been cleaned before we arrived. 3.

A cosy, small space in a perfect location to shops,bars, and restaurants. Easy check-in and check out process.

The property was run down and wasn’t cleaned very well on arrival with a stale smell as a welcome. Internally the property could do with a refresh and the bathroom needs a refurb
