"A cosy little cottage right in the heart of Whitby."

A lovely little cottage in the heart of Whitby. The check-in was smooth using a code supplied via email before the check-in date. The cottage is cosy, with a well-equipped kitchen, perfect for evening meals and breakfasts. The heating was working perfectly and was essential during a cold Autumn weekend. The bed in the main bedroom was comfy, and the shower worked very well.

The mattresses in the twin room were a little soft. The entrance and staircase are very tight. This is an old cottage, so the floor is uneven in places, but none of these affected our stay and are to be expected in a seaside cottage.

Lovely & Clean. Owner very responsive. Very convenient location.

No tea towel on arrival but owner brought one quickly Underwear left in drawer from a previous let Agency wanted ÂŁ34 early check in fee for a one hour early check in (Outrageous Really as it was clearly empty and the neighbour who we met said had been so since at least 11.00) We just waited until normal check in time instead of paying that fee which we thought curmeodgenly.

Perfect central location so plenty of cafes, bars & shops to enjoy Apartment was well provisioned. Powerful shower helped ease the body aches & pains from springs on mattress.

Sofa cushion seats need refurb.( More cushion filling) ..it wasn't comfy if sitting for period of time The single bed mattress was uncomfortable..I could feel the metal springs on my ribs and woke with aches & pains.maybe thick mattress toppers would help. Instructions how to operate the Nespresso machine

We love the location of the apartment, super close to the harbour and off a lovely street with shops and Emma's Diner where we had a fab meal. The apartment is cosy, stylish and has everything we could need. We've stayed here 3 times now and will be back!

No loo roll :( and a general dust is needed in a few rooms, but the quirky character made up for that!
