The Maiden Studio. Derry city. Studio Apartment.

Lovely apartment- had everything we needed and was spotless. Host made us feel very welcome and a lovely welcome pack on arrival.

Very clean and comfortable. The bed and small sofa was also comfortable. There was milk, bread, butter and a few treats which were helpful.

Too small for us with suitcases. Quite a way out up a steep hill. No shelves in the wet room or hooks. No wardrobe or clothes hangers.No bedside units and the bed up against the wall. Kitchen blind was broken.

Easy access to the property with great instructions from host, on arrive met host and she was a wealth of knowledge and very friendly.

Host Bridgine is a star! Everything we needed was either there or taken care of right away. The studio is very comfortable and cosy; perfect for one or two people. The location is great - it’s a 40 minute walk to the city centre (albeit challenging because Derry is quite hilly), and we could easily park our car at the accommodation and in the city. The bed and bathroom are very comfy.

I kind of missed a table to eat at, but the studio is small so I fully understand why there is none.

I loved how it had everything you needed for a short stay and was so clean. The decor was amazing and it was pretty close to the city centre

The shower room door was very flimsy and I felt like I could've easily broken it. Also could be slightly noisy during the day with movement from upstairs.

We loved The Maiden Studio and how easy it was to find. It was compact but very clean and comfortable. We were very grateful for use of the washing machine and the bits and pieces provided by the host for a simple but satisfactory breakfast.
