ZAI found the place to be acceptable, though it did not fully meet my expectations. I wasn't upset about it - the experience was simply "okay". The outdoor shower was a real highlight and added a fun, refreshing touch. The host was beautiful, friendly, and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. I also loved the nature-focused setting; the surrounding greenery created a calming, natural vibe. If you value a laid-back, nature-filled escape and enjoy quirky features like an outdoor shower, it is worth considering. Just keep in mind that some amenities may be more basic.
The journey to the place was longer than I expected, and in my view the distance wasn't justifies by what the site offered. There is literally no food available at the location, so you will need to bring all your own meals and snacks, Plan Accordingly! Also, I was under the impression the pool was right next to the houses, but it turned out to be quite a walk away. If easy pool access is important, keep that in mind. The power kept cutting while I was there. It eventually stabilised, but the intermittent outages were inconvenient and left unsure of the cause. Another thing that was a bummer to me was that the host leaves the area at night, leaving guests without any on-site security presence. If you prefer a more secure environment after dark, this is something to consider.

ZAThe poolside area was nice and well maintained. The caretaker was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay, which we truly appreciated.
When we arrived, there was no electricity or water until the following day. The host was not helpful at all and failed to provide even the most basic necessities such as water or lighting. Every time we called her for assistance, she directed us to look for the caretaker, and we had to walk around the entire lodge trying to find him ourselves. The room was very dirty and infested with cockroaches, which made our stay extremely uncomfortable. While we understand there may have been shortages of water and electricity, the host should have at least provided us with a bucket of water. I travelled all the way from the Eastern Cape to Limpopo, and honestly, I was not happy with the overall experience — though I truly appreciated the caretakers, who did their best to assist. The lodge also needs fumigation and a thorough spring cleaning. Overall, the place itself has potential, but the management and hospitality need serious improvement.
