It was in a quiet location, which made it very relaxing. It had everything we needed & more, the private garden for our dog was great. The welcome gifts were lovely & it felt homely

The only thing I can mention was it was very light in the mornings so could do with black out curtains and a blind for the velux window (luckily I had read this so brought an eye mask). Apart from that it was perfect.

Stylish, clean, and modern, set in a wonderfully peaceful location. We felt genuinely valued as guests, welcomed with a delightful cream tea, and given the perfect privacy to fully relax and enjoy our getaway.

Absolutely wonderful stay, incredibly quiet and private. Everything was spotless, fresh, and very welcoming. Lovely, modern feel with high-end facilities and fittings. Genuinely felt like a home away from home. Also, a big one for me is high-quality bedding. Very comfortable bed with luxurious bedding with a lovely, freshly washed scent which I really appreciated! The welcome gifts were a wonderful touch and went down a treat after our very long journey!

The only thing we can possibly think of that could have increased our score to a 10/10 would have been to have some more cleaning products (such as a kitchen spray and/or antibacterial spray) which would have made it easier to clean up. We bought one from a supermarket so it wasn't an issue, it just would have been easier to have that available to use at the property!

We had such a great long weekend at the Old Egg Shed! The facilities were excellent, the accommodation was finished and furnished to a high standard and was spotlessly clean. The hosts went above and beyond to provide little extra touches, like a torch, dressing robes, slippers, toiletries, dishwasher tablets, games and a welcome pack. The welcome hamper of freshly baked scones, clotted cream, jam, biscuits, crisps and a soft drink was very well received and a lovely welcoming touch! The scones were excellent! The hot tub was great, lovely and private and in such a lovely peaceful environment, was just what we needed for a lovely relaxed birthday weekend! We will definitely be returning and will recommend to friends and family!

We loved it! There was nothing that we didn’t like, it would be hard to fault the old egg!

Beautiful place with a home from home feel. Everything thought of throughout. Very peaceful with lovely surroundings.
