The Serene House Bed & Breakfast

We loved EVERYTHING about the Serene House. The ambiance, the breakfast, the room, the surroundings, the hosts... it was above and beyond everything we imagined!

Everything was perfect!

Every now and then, you stumble upon a place that quietly imprints itself on your heart, and this place is exactly that! My stay here felt like a deep exhale. The breakfast was delicious, the hospitality was amazing, and the views are beautiful. Make sure to check out their little shop on-site, it has so many goodies. Last but not least, this place is Puerto Rican owned which was very important to us!

There isn't anything I didn't like. Our only mistake was not staying additional nights here.

Stunning location, with incredibly thoughtful details everywhere you look. Pablo and Maribel were perfect hosts - friendly, helpful, charming and thoroughly unobtrusive. I wish we could have stayed longer and until we return, I wish I could return the calm state of mind promised by the name.

Our stay at the Serene Bed-and-Breakfast House was nothing short of magical. Nestled in the heart of the rainforest, the property was absolutely immaculate—peaceful, pristine, and surrounded by the beauty of nature. From the moment we arrived (very early for check-in!), Maribel and Pablo welcomed us with such warmth and kindness, instantly making us feel at home. The serenity of this place is unmatched. Falling asleep to the sounds of the coquí frogs and gentle rainfall was truly a dream. Each morning, they treat you to the most delicious breakfast—thoughtfully prepared and served with care. Every detail of our stay felt intentional and relaxing, and it’s clear that Maribel and Pablo genuinely care about creating a special experience for their guests. We couldn’t have asked for more. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful escape in nature with incredible hospitality.

Great and unique relaxing place to stay in Luquillo if you want to be away from touristy area and be close to nature and plan on hiking at El Yunque.

The hosts are simply amazing, great hospitality, great food, great local suggestions. And the Serene House is gorgeous

The property is beautiful, clean, and serene as the name says. It is located in a rural area but very close to the highway and El Yunque National Park. Maribel and Pablo were great hosts, treated us like family. Included breakfast and special dinner were outstanding. It is a very nice and cozy experience. Definitely will come back.
