So comfortable, had everything you could need, beautiful decoration especially the lounge area which was so relaxing, lovely location with welcome guide advising where to go. Free ferry tickets to the beach to prevent queueing on the first day.

Fantastic location. Just walking minutes away from shops, bars, restaurants and tourist attractions. The house had everything we needed. Owner’s communication was excellent

We spent wonderful time in Portugal, we were travelling and stayed in a 5 different nice (with 8-9 rating) accommodations. This villa was the best. Linda is amazing host. First thing - It was very thoughtful to leave the vine, bread and juice in a fridge for us. In this villa you feel like at home , Everything was clean and house has everything you need to spend time like at home. In situation that really wasn’t depend on her (building works have been started near villa ) Linda tried to help us feel comfortable suggesting to have breakfast at the nearest restaurant as a gift from her side . Thank you.

Absolutely fabulous, appreciated every aspect of house, beautifully presented, spotless, bright, airy. A starter pack of practical essentials like milk, bread, butter, water, wine and a couple of chilled beers was provided. Felt it was even better than home from home. Also very well situated on a quiet friendly street.

The property is on a small neighborhood street. I first felt like maybe the area was not very good. After walking around for a day we grew to really appreciate the neighborhood. It really was close to everything you needed to get to. The apartment was clean and well stocked and the host provided a really detailed book with restaurant recommendations and parking, things to do, etc. Overall the stay was very enjoyable.

The layout is a little odd. There is no bathroom on the 3rd floor where the bedroom is....so if you have to use the bathroom in the middle of the night you have to walk down a flight of stairs to get to it. I'm not sure I would want to have a extended stay here but for 2 nights it was not an issue. There is a lot of construction going on around this side of town.....Lots of streets torn up and work going on. I ended up driving through a big construction area but all the workers were at lunch. I was on 1 way streets and finally everything was blocked ....My only option was to back out of the streets for a couple blocks... eventually I tried turning around and didn't see a blade sticking out of a tractor and it scratch the door on my rental car. My first rental car incident in 30 years. It kind of soured me on Tavira for a few hours....but I got over it and had a very enjoyable stay.

The location was perfect for access to Tavira, just a few minutes walk from the bridge and the many restaurants.

This is a lovely cosy character house located in a picturesque quiet street but very close to all the main amenities. The kitchen was very well equipped all the furnishings were comfortable and of a high standard. We particularly enjoyed the mini welcome pack after a long journey!. Our host Linda contacted us after we arrived to ensure everything was fine and to offer any addition information we might need. The information booklet for The Dolls House was really useful in recommending places and local restaurants. We really had a lovely stay and would return tomorrow if we could!!
