Lovely spacious home, 8mins walk to York Minster

Utensils within the kitchen very helpful. Plenty of cutlery and nice big cups for tea and coffee. Homely feeling in the living room. 8 min walk to York Minster. Easy access to all shops, cafe's and restaurants.

Remote control ok button broke but only a very minor issue.

The apartment was very comfortable, nicely decorated and welcoming. It was also very well equipped. There was a full bathroom with a bath and overhead shower and an ensuite shower room.

There was no lock on the bathroom door and it didn't close properly.

This apartment was perfect for us and we will definitely be back. The location was ideal, just a short walk to get to the minster, not even 10 minutes. There was free parking for one car, parking was on street with a permit provided. The apartment was clean and well stocked with everything you would expect and more. The best bit for us was how child friendly it was, there was a travel cot provided in the main bedroom, and toys, games, DVDs and books for a variety of ages available in the dining room. We really enjoyed our stay.

The only negative I can think of is how cold the downstairs bedroom would get at times. It is something they are trying to address with an extra electric heater provided and an extra thick duvet. However our little boy kept kicking the duvet off and waking up cold. It's only a small issue though and only really a problem because of his age, for an older child it wouldn't have been an issue at all. That room was also really bright in the evening due to lights from neighbouring properties, a thicker darker curtain might help, again only a minor issue though.
