Lovely spacious home, 8mins walk to York Minster

We thought the location was excellent, in easy walking distance to town for sight-seeing and restaurants. The place is nice with 1 flight of tall stairs to the living level. Be aware the bedrooms are on different levels if you have young kids. The apartment is spacious and welcoming. There was a bath on both levels, near both bedrooms. Water pressure and temperature were great. The on-street parking was free and right in front.

It was a very warm evening, so without AC, it was difficult to sleep in the upper bedroom. However, the lower bedroom was great!

The apartment was excellent for our 2 day stay and it had everything we needed. The location was great and it only took about 10 minutes to walk in to the city. A parking permit was supplied and we managed to get parked right outside the apartment so getting our bags inside was nice and easy. The apartment was warm, clean and tidy on our arrival and it was ideal having the bedroom/ensuite on the ground floor for my friend. Great communications from Emma throughout the booking.

Just a small thing really. We had cool packs for our onward journey and these only just fitted in to the ice compartment due to it badly needing defrosting. The apartment could do with a wee bit tlc in some areas but this wouldn't stop me staying again.

A really comfortable apartment and well equipped with everything we needed. Ideal distance for walking into shops etc. Great communication too. Would definitely go back!

Really spacious ‘house’. Very comfy bed and well equipped kitchen,even scales. Would highly recommend. Quiet but just a short walk to the centre.
