The Heart of Rye

The location was perfect and easy to find. The house was spotless and had just about everything needed. We had enough room and everywhere was comfortable. We can't wait to stay again and gave two re-visits in the planning...

No microwave unless it was so well camouflaged we couldn't see it!

Location and quality of accommodation was great. Host was quick to respond and very helpful. I would book again.

Good space, very well fitted, decorated as if normally used as own house. WiFi excellent

Parking is in general bit of an issue in Rye, small garage, but good alternatives available

Easy to find, plenty of cheap local parking to unload.

No major issues apart from trying to work out the hob settings which had worn off.

Close to where we needed to be, very well equipped, had everything we needed & more & the host was so accommodating & would do anything for us if needed

There was nothing

Great location, excellent communication and helpful details from the owner prior to our arrival. Kitchen was very well stocked in terms of crockery, glassware etc. Comfy beds! Despite the road outside it was pretty quiet which was a relief and the balconies were a nice touch - although not small dog or possibly small child friendly - didn’t have one of the latter to test out.

Ground floor en suite bathroom very small considering the size of the 2nd floor bathroom, perhaps not having the cloakroom by the entrance would have afforded a more spacious en-suite, but I can see the attraction of having a third toilet if there were 6 persons staying. Living room corner sofa very soft and ‘enveloping’ which did offer a certain entertainment factor when trying to extract oneself from the cushions!

Clean, comfortable and well equipped in a handy central location

We loved the location and Sally the host was so helpful and replied immediately to any questions we had. Excellent location for a visit to Rye!

There want anything we didn't like but parking was tricky. Plenty of parking nearby but not always able to get parked near the property but it was a bank holiday! We totally appreciate that x
