I loved everything about the property it was so beautiful and perfectly clean! It’s in a fab spot right in the centre honestly couldn’t fault it. The host Suzy is an absolute gem and she is a dream to book with she made the whole experience magical by her little touches of leaving thoughtful gifts and leaving the heating on for us arriving which was very much appreciated as it was Baltic !!! The bed was so comfortable and the sheets smelt so fresh I didn’t want to leave it behind Will most definitely be back and will be definitely recommending to friends and family. The flat is beautiful with lots of character, but also very well equipped. We had everything we needed! Suzy has got to be the best hostess we've ever encountered - from the personal messages and very handy guidebook (red folder) to the carefully chosen book gifts she left for me and my son - it's really not something you encounter every day. Alnwick is very pretty too, and we will happily come again.

The only (very minor) issue was the noise from the street at night time. Because of the town centre location there are a couple of pubs in the vicinity, so it might be useful to take some earplugs on weekend nights if you're a light sleeper.

Suzy left us a welcome gift of a book each which was a wonderful surprise. The check in instructions were extremely clear and easy. The pint of milk and tea and coffee facilities were welcome additions. The bed was comfortable, the apartment was warm and well decorated. The kitchen was well appointed with everything you could need.

The shower was a little short for me at 6'2" but perfect for my 5'8" wife.

Great location, excellent facilities, VERY comfortable bed. The host’s communications can’t be faulted, updates and quick response to any queries.

Fabulous apartment. Loved the querky decor and furnishings. Comfortable beds and exceptionally clean. It welcomes dogs - we don't! BUT there was no evidence of a dog being there so excellent cleaning. Everything we needed for our stay in a great location. Individual gifts from the host were a lovely touch 😊

2 flights of stairs but if you can manage stairs please book as you won't be disappointed with the accommodation. Highly recommended.

It was perfectly located right in the centre of the little town. Very handy for food shops-Morrisons is directly behind it although note the very early closing time of 4pm on Sundays- but lots of interesting local trades in the surrounding shops including nice bakeries, lovely coffee shops and fantastic pubs and restaurants. The flat is beautifully decorated, very warm and cosy with lots of delightful little quirky features that make it unique. It has an enormous roll top bath and a decent shower with huge cosy towels. The kitchen is well equipped and has a dishwasher fridge and freezer for longer stays. Beds are comfy, quilts are comforting and plenty of wardrobe space and a hairdryer, iron and free view tv. The host Suzy could not be more helpful and leaves a gift for you which is a delightful touch. The flat is a book lovers paradise with books in every room on all manner of genres. And the old typewriters and writing desk add to the feeling that this stay is a literary experience to write home about. Instantly welcoming from the minute you step through the door. Suzy’s flat is better described as a life affirming experience than an apartment. Will definitely be back. And it’s dog friendly which is the icing on the cake 😊

The accommodation is perfect. The noise of the chimes from the town clock across the road could be a bit annoying if you’re a light sleeper but I’d say just take some earplugs. It’s a market town, they all have a big clock in the middle and you very quickly get used to the chimes which aren’t overly loud but audible in the apartment.
