"Great value for money in good location of Arequipa old town"

Located very centrally in the old town of Arequipa on a pedestrian only street but tours/taxis can pick up right on the corner. The twin room was comfortable and spacious and the bedding was warm and comfortable. They helped with arranging an airport pick up for us for 35 soles which was nice. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. We were able to pay with credit card with a 5% fee. The rooftop terrace had a view of the volcanoes. The hot shower was actually HOT which was such a nice change from everywhere else in Peru. The building and rooms felt secure and safe. We were able to store our luggage for free. Overall a perfect place to stay for exploring Arequipa for a great price!

Advertencia (no sobre el hotel): Si necesitas cambiar dinero, te recomiendo hacerlo en un Western Union. Las casas de cambio que están muy cerca al hotel suelen pedir que los dólares estén en perfecto estado; de lo contrario, no los aceptan o te ofrecen una tasa muy por debajo del mercado. En Mango Hostel me gustó mucho la relación calidad-precio. Por el valor de la habitación, no se puede ser demasiado exigente. Lo único que creo que podría mejorar es la cama, ya que nos pareció un poco pequeña y no tan cómoda como esperaba. Todo lo demás fue excelente. Nos guardaron las maletas, lo que nos permitió aprovechar el tiempo para conocer Arequipa, que es una ciudad hermosa. Además, el hostel cuenta con una zona en el tercer piso ideal para tomar el sol y descansar, la cual utilicé bastante. La ubicación es otro gran punto a favor: está a solo una cuadra de la Plaza de Armas, lo que nos permitió hacer muchos recorridos caminando.
