Bed On The Beach

The staff were very welcoming. They invited me to eat with the whole family, helped me medically when I fell off my bike and drove me to places on the bike when needed. Down to earth people.

The road to get to the hostel can be a bit dangerous when it rains, some beds are too bright a dark window blind would help and water in the shower smells a bit weird

The view and the pool were amazing! Also the possibility to rent a motorbike for a reasonable price was very good! Nice cats and no noise in the rooms. Rooms were comfortable and clean, we were 6 in a 12 bed dorm.

The bugs in the room in the evening was a problem. The way they write down the payments is terrible and not good for handling payments afterwards. One staff member is always annoying you and trying to sell you something, having a nice conversation at first but it always ends up on the same thing.. sales. This is not comfortable when you are trying to relax and avoid the market people. Bad smell in the room and bathroom. The pictures show a 6 dorm bedroom but it’s actually a 12 dorm bedroom!

Comfort matress + 2x pillows

This Hostel was build quickly on very cheap material. The male staff (2-3 guys) would hang out A LOT in the doorm and literally 'pretending' to clean but starring at us girls/women. Also they would constently try to sell tours and transport in an aggressive manner. Especially as a woman being alone in the doorm with the male staff would made me feel very uncomfortable.. Facility: Bunkbeds all out of wood, if 1 person moves out of 6 you will feel it. The main door doesn't close proper (2cm gab each side). = mosquitos and heat can enter the room. The paint in the lockers would come off and stain the backpack/cloths. Toilet/showerdoors out of plastic, no hot water. Pressure was very weak, 1x showercabin couldn't be locked. Road up to the Hostel is a dirt road, be careful while driving (very dangerous in the rainy season!) Pool was SO hot, it was painful to get in. Overall, the bathroom needs much more cleaning. Wouldn't recommend to stay here.
