Perdika's Nest, family friendly house by the sea

Was very comfortable and cleaned. Super close to the seaside. And great place to work remotely. Also the owner was super kind and available to accommodate all our requests.

Had to leave the apartment due to infestation of roaches and other insects. A Birthday and anniversary getaway for my girlfriend and I that went wrong.

The apartment was infested with roaches and other insects. I had killed 4 roaches and there were more coming out of the mattress and surrounding furniture within the bedroom and other rooms of the apartment. My girlfriend and I had to leave the apartment because my girlfriend is allergic to roaches. We met with the owner of the apartment and showed her the condition it was. She apologized and told us that our funds were going to be returned to our account.

Spacious, comfortable, plenty of linens and towels, and nice views from the kitchen and bunk bed bedroom. We felt very taken care of by our hosts, who were easy to contact and provided all the info we needed to enjoy our stay. Two bathrooms was a great bonus when traveling with 4 people. We had a lovely wander at sunset around the neighborhood and into town. We enjoyed breakfast with pastries from the nearby bakery on the front porch — so charming! Hosts gave lots of recommendations for dining. We only stayed for one night so we couldn’t try them all (but we hope to be back again!), but we really enjoyed our fish dinner at a recommended taverna in Perdika and we appreciated the suggestions. We would love to come back for a longer stay!

Everything was great. There was a minor issue with lights dimming/the electricity, but we informed the host and are confident that it will be fixed for the next guests. We only stayed one night so it was no big deal for us.

We had a wonderful time at Perdika's nest two-bedroom house. The apartment was exceptionally clean, nicely decorated, with all the amenities needed for a holiday by the sea. It is a very cozy place, located close to the sea, but also close to a supermarket and a bakery. One has a nice view of the sea from one of the bedrooms and from the downstairs kitchen. The port, with an exceptional choice of restaurants, is approx 7-10 min away by foot. Don't miss the chance to have a walk at sunset, in the area around the port (there is a nice park and an alley surrounding the church close to the port). Our host indicated us a nice swimming spot, 2 min walk from the house, which was great indeed. But you also have a good choice of nice beaches close to Perdika village. We tried Marathonas Beach B (sandy beach), Sarpa (more of a rocky beach) and Klima (sandy beach). All of them are great but for us Marathonas Beach B was the main choice (no music and family friendly). We stayed for one week at Perdika's nest and we much appreciated the fact that, after 3 days, the host arranged with the cleaning lady to refresh our house and change all the towels and bed sheets. We felt like home :)
