Lotus Paradise Resort - SHA PLUS

If you do not have any problems as mentioned before, the accomodation is clean and spacious.

In the booking it is mentioned that you may experience some noise because some of the small houses are located near a bar. What they did not mention is that our house was only about 0.5 meters away from this bar, where a pool party was held every other night. The music was so loud that it was impossible to understand each other inside the house, and the bass was extremely heavy. They also did not mention that the resort is located in the main nightlife street. During our entire stay we had problems with mice in our room. They closed a few holes in the walls, but the mouse kept coming back. Our belongings were damaged by gnawing and our food was eaten. Sleeping was almost impossible because of this. After three nights we were offered the option to move to another house, but only if we paid extra. The room was never cleaned unless we went to the reception twice a day to ask them to please come and clean it. Overall, this was a very exhausting holiday due to constantly having to follow up on issues, the mice, and the severe noise disturbance.

Musiikki soi rantabaarista yöllä erittäin kovaa - nukkuminen jos ei mahdotonta niin vaikeaa. Henkilökunta hieman töykeää. Allasalue oli epäviihtyisä.

It was difficult to really like anything other than the staff. They did the best they could to help us. We rented two bungalows. The rooms were ok, cute even. We asked to be moved immediately when we arrived, due to the terrible location, nothing else available. So the third day we moved to one of the newer bungalows. Much better.

We had two bungalows. I expected to be on the beach. It was right on a main walking / scooter path beside a restaurant and next to a bar / pool area where the music was very loud every night until 2am. We did not get much sleep due to pub crawls & noise. We had a pet cockroach in our bathroom & a rodent trying to chew into our cabin. We moved to a newer bungalow on the 3rd day, it was better. The beds were the hardest beds we have come across in 5 weeks in Thailand.

Wir waren positiv überrascht. Personal war immer freundlich und hilfsbereit. Dass es laut wird, wurde uns vorher per Nachricht mitgeteilt.
