Rota's House III

The accommodation is smartly refurbished on the second floor of an old building. The bathroom is super modern, and the king size bed is extremely comfortable. The kitchen (shared with guests of two other rooms) is very clean and has a decent dishwasher, two burner induction hotplate and fridge - plus lots of cutlery, glassware and crockery. The location is very central but reasonably quiet, and it is close to a good selection of restaurants, cafes and specialist shops. The air conditioning (once I found the remote down the back of the laundry basket) is excellent and very welcome.

Communication with the owners wasn't very good. They were slow to answer simple questions and didn't always reply at all (eg to my request for advice about public transport from the airport). I was very surprised there were no written notes for visitors, eg with the WiFi code (which I had to ask for), with instructions on emergencies, with advice on local shopping, places to eat and transport, and with arrangements for checking out and leaving keys. Kitchen equipment was a bit odd too - lots of cutlery glassware and crockery but no saucepans. It is surprising also to find a place like this without a microwave or electric kettle. Generally, to justify a premium price like this needs a bit more attention to detail, and to the likely needs of guests.

Was nicely decorated and nicely located.

The room was quite small, especially for two adults and a kid. It was also very noisy given that the common space was just behind the doors.

Comfortable room with a great location. Close to the train station, restaurants and even Citta Alta. But for the price paid I was expecting more attention to details. For example a bottle of water in the room, a flyer with the availability of a wifi connection in the house.. And a bed linen which was not collecting all the dust from the room.

Very nice appartment, clean ,good facilities, in centre ot town.

Very noisy traffic at night, on a main road. Shared sitting room /kitchen close to my room.. Step in bathroom is easy to stumble on. Could probably do with something on the step to show it up.
