I’m not a fan of the mattress ...it’s too hard and doesn’t do justice to the room, which is otherwise perfect. The mattress feels cheap and detracts from the overall experience.

Very Friendly staff, very positive check in. Clean room, with aircon, I was upgraded from the room I booked. Very modern ameneties. Quite a nice experience. Lots of attention from the owner / manager. Very nice people.

The restaurant on the premises. The food was very unsatisfactory. I received 9 small oily mushrooms with a small bowl of sweet chilly sauce in stead of tartare sauce as per the menu, for R75. (i.e. R9/mushroom). I then was served a very thinly cut t-bone (less than 10 mm thick) with cold mushroom sauce and raw cold chips, for R135. After I managed to find a waiter, they microwaved my plate for me, to heat up the sauce and the chips. So I ended up eating hot raw chips and I couldn't eat my salad, as it was quite hot too. The t-bone was ok. There are not a lot of places to eat in Adelaide, and I guess this place is better than the others, so eat before you book in perhaps? Very nice B&B though. I recommend the B&B. I doubt the restaurant manager ever checks to see what food goes out of his kitchen? Maybe he is tending the bar and not paying attention to the food they are serving? Anyway, this is what happened, I could not speak to anybody about it at the restaurant. Nobody asked me if my food was ok during my visit. Maybe the waiter staff just need training? They are very friendly though.
