"Perfect Cottage"

A very cute cottage and well maintained. It was perfect for the 4 of us to celebrate our Dad's birthday. The heating/fire kept the place nice and warm! I would definitely like to come back for a longer stay.

"Quaint little cottage."

Loved this amazing quaint little cottage. Equipped with everything you could possibly need. Nice and warm and cosy as the weather dropped to icy cold on New Yrs Day. Nice little xmassy touches made it feel even more special and we actually wished we had stayed in the run up to Xmas. Cromford is a beautiful village with amazing scenery and two lovely dog friendly pubs. Nearby Matlock Bath is also lovely.

Nothing to dislike. If I was to be picky just the parking situation is a little inconvenient but, not so much to be an issue or to deter from booking.

Great location. Perfect for us in a week where all we wanted to do was take dog out for walks and watch the Olympics. Cromford is not big but again had everything that we needed

Yes, the stairs are steep - our dog found out the hard way on arrival when she was over-excited. But we also know that it's a listed building and the owners are "stuck" with them. At least we were forewarned

Nice, cosy cottage. Good location.

The single bed was high and not comfortable and sheets looked worn. The living room was dark. Outside table and chairs needed cleaning before we could use them.

Lovely old 3 storey cottage in Cromford, comfortable beds and spacious rooms and lounge, modern nice kitchen. Everything we needed for the weekend. Just a few miles from Matlock Bath, walked in 30 minutes. Easy communication with the owner for access. Would stay here again.

Only the steep stairs. Not an issue for us but could potentially be for anyone with mobility issues
