Confortável, bem equipada e limpeza em ordem, roupas de cama maravilhosa, toalhas brancas. Ao lado do mercado, só precisa estar de carro, porque o trem até Edimburgo é caro! Precisa atentar ao horario de chegada, porque a iluminação é precária e o endereço não é muito claro. Mas se puder pedir a localização com antecedência é um lugar muito agradável para se ficar

The apartment was modern, parking was not a problem, beds were comfortable

The outside steps were not a problem, but the step over the threshold was too high - more of a problem on the way out. A letter a or b on the doors of the 2 flats would have been helpful on arrival.No bedside lamps, no blackout curtains, and no instructions for the cooker were all inconveniences.

Modern, clean (with exception of cupboard shelves), quite spacious, comfy beds, handy for shop.

Listed as having a dishwasher and iron, but had neither. Location was very scruffy. Overflowing bins attracting seagulls, car parking area covered in scattered rubbish and broken glass. No instructions for anything, such as heating, washing machine, microwave and rubbish disposal. No bedside lamps. No window coverings in sitting room/kitchen making tv more or less useless in daylight. Inadequate seating for number of occupants, and uncomfortable. Wobbly and unsafe bar stools and only 3 of them. No table or coffee table. No bin in bathroom or bedrooms. Slippy bath with high step over for shower, no anti slip mat and no grab rails - a serious safety hazard.Overall sparsely equipped- eg few pans, no corkscrew, no oven glove, no scourer, no spare bin bags. Entrance involves climbing 25 steep and chipped external steps, and very high threshold step at door which was a trip hazard. Wholly unsuitable for elderly. Code entry was fiddly and unexplained. It took 20 minutes to get in. Shelves in cupboards thick with dust, which forced washing of clothing laid on them. The property seems to be run by a company, possibly related to the Lomond Hills Hotel. I think a lot of the shortcomings, repeatedly posted in other reviews and apparently not acted upon, stem from this: the property lacks the signs of care and attention to detail that private owners tend to exhibit.

Great location at an affordable price. Nice small town and it is close to the train station.

Some things were dirty. The maid service needs to do a better job.

The accommodation was fine, and it was clean and in a good location.

As previous reviewers have said:- 1. No dishwasher which it is listed as having 2. No bedside lamps, which is a huge issue if you want to read in bed. 3. No blinds, or curtains in the living room. Which again was an issue as the sunshine was so strong in the evening, you couldn't see the TV screen 4. No instructions for TV, which was not easy to use 5. Ironing board, but no iron 6. It sleeps six, but only comfy chairs for three people 7. Seats for three at the breakfast bar, so if there were more people you would have to eat in relays! 8. Not enough crockery for six people

Nice facilities. Quiet neighbourhood.

The steps on the stairs leading to the apartment was uneven due to chipping. This imposes tripping and safety risks especially to children.
