Ivy on Sea Villa

Firstly it is way more dull and run down than the pictures. The en suite was dusty, the beds were very uncomfortable, an unpleasant smell as soon as you walk in the house, one of the 2 towels provided were damp, there was a window above our bedroom door and every time the hallway light was turned on overnight it lit our room up and woke us up on the little sleep we got… To top it off there was blood on the toilet lid!

Room was clean. And quiet outside at night.

Strange that there was a lounge/sitting area right outside the room where others could sit. Laying in bed and you could hear people right outside your room.

Noise at 4 am on street, was not exceptable.

The accommodation was exactly as described. Everything we needed was in the room. Small but fit for purpose & ideal for a short overnight stay.

Could have been a little clearer on description of parking. Free onsite parking led us to believe we had access to a driveway. In reality, it was on street parking & we parked a couple of streets away. Not a big deal for us as travelling light for short stay but a clearer description needed would be our feedback. There was a power cut during our stay but the point of contact couldn't have done anymore than they did as it was street wide. They attended in person very quickly to explain what was happening to everyone - couldn't have asked for more in that respect.

Comfy bed, nice clean accommodation, nice set up. Would definitely stay again for a nice quiet room away from the hussle.

Room key was a little fiddly and took a while to figure out.
