Really nice stay ruined by a money making owner. Honestly, my review was going to be so positive as this is a lovely flat, brilliant location and good communication with owner initially. Lots of positives about the place ruined at the end.

However, it was all ruined at check out. I will be the first person to appreciate booking 'rules' but the rules of this flat on booking.com is check out 9:30am and check in 5pm. That is possibly the longest gap I have ever seen! I texted Saturday morning asking if I could check out 11 (normal check out time) and got told that was not possible and I would be charged 20 euros. I was ok with that, I thought it odd considering that still left them 6 hours to clean the room but rules are rules. I was then told that my 20 euro charge only entitled me to a 1 hour additional stay and any longer would be charged more. I then had the owner ring the bell of the flat which I felt quite aggressive considering I'd already agreed to pay a late check out and they had zero reason to talk to me. Quite frankly the whole thing was ridiculous. If you're going to charge someone a late check out at least give it to midday. Those 'rules' are in as a money making scheme for the owner so they can charge late check out and early check in. It's very disappointing to see but so obvious as well. It ruined the stay and I hope they appreciate the extra 20 euros as it turned a place I would have recommended into a place I would caution against. Disappointed to see such a clear money making scheme and I would choose somewhere else in Rimini 100%. Lots of lovely places with probably less scrupulous owners.

Property is lovely, well decorated and extremely clean.

Value for money. Clean and spacious apartment.

The breakfast and coffee were inadequate
