Nice view from the window.

This was the most disappointing stay we’ve ever had, and we had to leave after just one night because of the apartment’s condition: - No parking, despite being listed. We wasted a lot of time driving around searching for a spot and ended up paying ~€20/day for public parking. - Old and worn, with a sticky table, a dirty cup found in the kitchen cabinet, and mold in the shower. - Bathroom doors without locks. - Only sheets provided, no blankets. - Constant noise from the busy road outside. We had paid €1500 for 3 nights, and losing that money was very disappointing. To save our vacation, we moved to a fantastic place in central Varenna that was both cheaper and much better maintained.

1600 € pour 3 nuits....complètement injustifié pour les prestations !! Pour la moitié du prix, nous aurions été plus tolérants, mais là, ça dépasse les bornes ! Aucune place de parking réservée, nous avons tourné en rond pendant + d'1h avant d'avoir une place disponible sur le parking le plus éloigné ! La climatisation, extrêmement bruyante (juste 3 petits appareils d'appoint) n'était pas mise en route lors de notre arrivée, il faisait 38 degrés !! Il y avait des araignées et plusieurs toiles d'araignées dans le séjour ! Le canapé était déplié en lit... ??? Donc, nous ne pouvions pas nous en servir. Nous n'étions pourtant que 2 couples, les deux chambres suffisaient ! Les lits n'étaient pas entièrement préparés, il y avait juste le drap de dessous ! Les prises n'étaient utilisables qu'avec un adaptateur (fourni par le loueur) et certaines ne fonctionnaient pas (chambre). Dans la salle de bains, une seule lampe sur 3 fonctionnait au-dessus du lavabo. Le couvercle des toilettes ne tenait pas ouvert, mal fixé !! Le plafonnier dans la chambre du fond ne fonctionnait pas, et la porte ne pouvait pas s'ouvrir à fond. Si on voulait utiliser le petit appareil de clim, il fallait laisser la fenêtre ouverte !!!.... Route à grand passage, donc beaucoup de bruit. Extérieur absolument pas entretenu. Attention, l'accès peut être difficile pour certaines personnes : un escalier irrégulier en pierre à descendre puis un autre à monter.

Amazing view of the lake. Apartment was clean and nestled amongst other homes. It was nice to hear the flowing river that was close to the apartment when the window was open. Got some great photos of the lake from the window.

Excellent location. Good room sizes/views/kitchen.

Toilet and bathrooms cannot be locked.

Beliggenhed er fantastisk, intet mindre. Gå afstand til Varenna, kort køretur til Riva Bianca, det ligger virkelig godt.

Det eneste, og det er virkelig det eneste, sengene er lidt til den hårde side. Bortset fra det, ALT var godt.

The view is amazing, the location was decent, its on the quiet side but a nice easy 15 minute walk to the centre of Varenna. Its a good location for those who like to walk and be away from the busy tourist areas but easy to get to all the main areas and ferry port. The accommodation is clean and well kept. We received a nice welcome box which was very much appreciated as our flight was delayed and we arrived much later than planned. Cristina our host was absolutely amazing! She was responsive, gave us recommendations to great restaurants and overall brilliant at ensuring we had a comfortable stay.

The apartment was ideal for us, we are a family of 4, 2 adults and 2 teenagers. I think it would be harder for elderly folks or families with very young children (under 2 years) as there are steps in the apartment itself and the walk might be too much. However for us, it was ideal!

The facilities were top-notch. Very clean and comfortable with a great view of the lake.

It was a bit of an awkward walk into Varenna along the road. There were no shops in close proximity to get essentials.

We loved the location and the apartment! The apartment is spacious and our family of six had plenty of room. The host is nice and friendly and it was easy to communicate. The view is spectacular!

The only negative thing that we could come up with was that because our trip was in the middle of july it could become really warm in the apartment. Fortunately there are two portable air conditioners and a fan in the apartment that help keep the temperature in check but even with them on it was some times +27-28 degrees inside. However this did not bother us so much because we had easy access to the small beaches so we went swimming a lot, which was super lovely! We would love to stay here again! :)
